Bitter-Sweet

Well I have officially finished my job working as an Para-educator(aide) in Title One at the Elementary school. I have loved my job, I have hated my job. But overall, I must say, I am glad to be finished. I LOVED working with the kids and will miss them alot! But I think it's time for me to stay at home and be a mom. Kyler is growing up WAY too fast and I feel like I'm missing out on SO much of his life! Now that I know people in this dear ole' town, I can find my socialization needed outside of work. :) So to mom's who have to work... I seriously look up to you! There is no greater work than that which comes with the title of "mother".

Picture Fun

{The Rules}- Go to your pictures, select the first folder, and post the 10th picture in the folder. Explain the picture and then tag three new people!
Haha this picture is of 3 important people in my life! First, you can see my adorable husband's nose, my handsom son Kyler's head and of course, the main focus is Turner, my nephew. This was over 4th of July weekend last year and we were at my great-aunt's house playing on her pond. Turner was making faces at me while I took the picture. Nothing too exciting!
I tag.....Jami, Ashley and Shelby

Angelman Walk

this past weekend I was able to go to the Angelman Walk for my neice, Kambree. It was such an amazing and touching experience! She is such a sweetheart and I love her so much! All the girls had such a good time and it was great to spend some time with family. My sister was able to talk to some other people with children that have the same syndrome as Kambree and that helped her out a ton! It's nice to be able to talk to people who know exactly what you're going through and that's kinda hard to find with this. We also got to go visit my new nephew, Matthew, who is absolutely adorable! Matthew is special too and I'm so excited to have him in our family, I can't wait until he can come home so I can hold him! Our family is SO incredibly blessed to have these sweet angels in our lives! I love them so much! We had a lot of fun and Kyler LOVED the incredibly HUGE and MASSIVE park there-I have never seen one that big, and let's be honest.... you could definitely say I went down the twirly slides a few times too! :) But once again... no pictures, camera is still broken! :( But here's some from my phone!

AFLAC

Deric and I have the Aflac maternity insurance plan. It's a supplemental insurance on top of regular insurance. We have heard a lot of great things about it and so we thought we would try it for our next kid. Well, when I had my miscarriage and had the D&C surgery, we talked to our agent to see if Aflac would by chance cover any of it. He said he thought they would cover about $250 which is half of our deductible of our regular insurance. We thought that was pretty darn good. Well guess what? I submitted the paperwork and got a reply back today saying they are going to be writing a check for..... duh duh duh....... $550! That's a whole lot more than we thought which is SUCH a blessing right now! All I can say, is so far, we have been really pleased with AFLAC and if you plan on having kids soon, you should get on their plan. They don't offer individual plans anymore, but you can still get it through your work at no cost to your employer! If you need details... let me know... I'd be happy to give you my agent's name and # . Here's to getting unexpected checks!
