Cereal-NO GOOD!

Recently we have started giving Kyler cereal. He does not like it! He pulls the funniest faces-I think it's SO cute! Here are a few pictures of him eating it! He just gets this face of "what the heck is that?"

Third Party Payment Option

So,
Deric and I are debating buying a car through a "military guy leaving for Iraq". The car is really an AMAZING deal (if it's all real). The seller said we could use a Third Party to handle all the money and details to make sure it's not a scam. The one he offered was SpartaPay. I am just wondering if anyone has used a third party and if so which one? Or have you heard anything about Sparta Pay. We aren't able to see the vehicle other than pictures as it will be shipped to us. We're really leary about this but don't want to let an amazing deal pass us by if it's real. Please give any suggestions/comments!

Kyler Update!

So for some reason, I can't figure out how to play around with these photos, but here are some of the latest of Kyler playing. He really is such a happy boy! He is growing so big too! Although at his latest check-up, the doctor confirmed he is a Winterton-tall and skinny! He is only in the 10-15% for weight but in the 90% for his height! We just can't seem to keep enough clothes in the closet that fit him, he grows out of them WAY too fast! He has recently mastered the art of rolling over. It's so funny, he gets all excited and as soon as you lay him on the floor, he rolls and rolls and rolls until he hits something-then he just gets mad that it's in his way! And of course-he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth! He has this weird fascination with his binky-he will just take it out and put it back in his mouth time and time again. He loves to hold on to it and play with it, it's really quite comical! He loves to go for walks with mom(when the weather is nice) and he goes crazy with excitement when he hears Dad walk in the door. He is getting so much more interactive each day and I can find myself spending hours just playing with him (which means I don't get as much work done). Basically we just love our boy and think he is the cutest!

High School

1. Did you date someone in high school? I dated a ton of different guys. I almost always had a boyfriend! haha Sometimes I wish I just would've played more with my friends, but at the same time, it helped me realize what I wanted in a husband...
2. What kind of car did you drive? haha an '89 Oldsmobile Royale--Deric still drives it to work.
3. Did you pass your driver's license test the first time? I sure did
4. Were you a party animal? Depends...
5. Were you considered a flirt? I'm sure other people thought I was..
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? I was in the choir. Although I really couldn't carry a tune, but luckily Bob let me in!:)
7. Were you a nerd? Not really...at least I don't think so!
8. Were you on any varsity teams? Yes...too many! Volleyball, basketball,track, softball and cheerleading.
9. Did you ever get suspended or expelled? Nope, Steph and I got caught sluffing once and that wasn't very fun, but Betty couldn't really do anything as it was the last week of school.
10. Can you still sing your fight song? Heck yes! I still remember our dance or whatever you call it too!
11. Who were your favorite teachers? Mr. G, Mr. Hansen, Sherry, Mr. Groesbeck, Mr. Keel...
12. Where did you sit at lunch? At Steph's house usually.
13. School mascot: Eagle
14. School colors: Technically Blue and white but they turned in to navy and silver
15. Did you go to homecoming and who with? Yes, Tim my Junior year and Cody by Senior year
16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? No. I don't think so. I loved it, but I would much rather have Deric and Kyler in my life every day!
17. What do you remember most about graduation? My mom daring me to do a jump on the edge of the stage while leading the school song.
18. Where did you go on Senior Skip Day? I was at State Track but everyone else went to Lagoon.
19. Were you in any clubs? Yes. GYC, Matheletes, National Honor Society, a few others..
20. Have you gained weight since then? HaHa yep! I gained a lot with Kyler!
21. Who was your prom date? Mark Stevens-totally not who I thought I would go with! IT was fun though!
22. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Probably, but who knows
23. Did you have a job while in high school? Just during the summers
24. Worst class? um... I don't really remember. haha
25. Favorite class? English with Mr. G senior year...classic memories!
26. Most embarrassing moment in High School? Probably the first time I cheered in front of the whole school, everyone expected me to suck!

Well that brought back a lot of good/bad memories! But it was fun....

Vehicle Debate

So Deric and I are starting to look for a new vehicle and are kind of in an argument as to which route we should take. I am just wondering what everyone else thinks. Deric----wants a truck, of course. More specifically a Nissan Frontier. I, on the other hand, want a crossover-type vehicle like a Honda Pilot. Deric's argument is that he already has some money saved to go towards a truck, so therefore, less coming out of our personal savings(he has been saving for a truck since we got married). He also thinks it will serve us better right now. I think that because we want to have our kids like 2 years apart then our family is going to be growing soon and so we will need more room. And he could get a truck in another year or so (either way, we will probably have to get another vehicle in another year or so) Both of us want whichever vehicle we purchase to be with us for a while. So...pros and cons to both? I would like some suggestions! I'm tired of car shopping for the "right" deal!
