Mad at myself!
I'm so ticked at myself right now! So I bought midnight showing of Eclipse tickets for my mother in law and sisters in law for us to go to. The tickets say Wed June 30 12 a.m. Guess what I thought that meant? I thought it meant tonight but really it was LAST night! So we missed it! I'm so ticked!!!! We're hoping the theater will let us switch them for a show for today-keep our fingers crossed!

This weekend, my sister had her baby! Wahoo! first boy for them. His name is Treyson Michael King and he is adorable! Lots of black hair! Oakley and Ashley are so excited to have a new baby brother and I'm excited to have another nephew! Now I'm the last one on my side of the family that is pregnant this year so we'll just wait until December....

A new LOVE!
If any of you REALLY know me, you know that I'm a sucker for sweets! I just can't keep my hands off them, no matter how hard I try! well yesterday I was craving cookie dough SO bad! (which is bad for pregnant women because of the raw eggs) but I remembered my sister saying that when she was in college her and her roommates would make cookie dough without the raw eggs just to eat it! So I called her up..... and.... duh duh duh! It works! You just substitute 1 Tablespoon water for each egg and it totally tastes the same! Although you can't bake it... it's perfect for the dough-eating experience! I was so excited that it doesn't taste any different and that you really can do it!
Pregnancy pictures
Okay, so these aren't the greatest of pictures, but they are from my cell phone or scanned in since we STILL don't have a camera! But..... good news! We finally ordered one! We are just waiting for it to get here now! WAHOO! Okay the belly picture totally doesn't do my stomach justice-I have a better one, but it won't send. But this is me at 12 weeks-I am showing ALOT sooner with this one than I did with Kyler that's for sure! The 2 ultrasound pictures are of our baby at 12 weeks and 3 days. The doctor was going to try and make a guess as to the gender of our baby, but of course, our baby was asleep, legs crossed and arms over face-just like Kyler does! So maybe it's a boy..?... He even tried to wake him/her up but had no success! If you look closely, you can see the legs crossed in one and the head in the other. Hope you enjoy! We are getting excited to find out what we are having and to be DONE with morning sickness! Now if I could just get the insomnia to go away...... didn't have that so much with Kyler........ I don't like it!Monday, June 21, 2010
Need some electronic advice!
So because our cameras are STILL broken and we can't figure out how to fix them, Deric and I decided we just need to buy a new one. He got a bonus at work so we're using that money to buy a digital camera and a portable DVD player. The only problem is... I don't want to buy a cheap one, but I need something that's not a ton of a money either and I have NO idea which route to go! So.. I'm askin for some advice! We want a semi-nice camera (not just the cheap, throw in your purse and go camera) and a portable DVD player with screens-one that you can use outside of the car if you want and then just a screen to go in the car. We need to get these relatively soon too! I would love any suggestions and/or advice!

She is AMAZING!
So this week I am babysitting my 2 neices and my nephew. They are such cute kids, I love them to death! But i have definitely realized that having 4 kids is a lot harder than I thought and I have no idea how my sister can do it by herself with the 3 she has. Don't get me wrong, it's not like her kids are bad or that they misbehave-it is just difficult. Her youngest daughter is handicapped and quite a handful although she is the most precious human being you will ever meet! She is such a sweetheart! I have learned that I never knew quite what tired was, how to juggle 2 poopy diapers (with 2 very squirmy kids), a spill of spaghetti sauce clear across the kitchen, someone knocking at the door while someone else comes in the backdoor and an 8 and 11 year old bickering-all at the same time! I just dont' know how my sister does it all by herself all the time. All I can say is she is definitely AMAZING and I look up to her so much! I know she has the help of family, but when it comes right down to it, it is the Lord that she depends on the most to help her through this. She is the best example anyone can look up to and she raises her kids so remarkably. They are such great kids and the older two help her out alot. I guess I just never quite understood how difficult being a mother could be. I only have one right now and he keeps my hands full! Let's just say.... this experience has definitely been an eye opener!
No big secret!
Well... it's no big secret, but I'll put it in plain words anyway.....
WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE WE ARE EXPECTING BABY #2!!
I'm almost 13 weeks, so my doctor says I have a 95% of carrying the baby full term which is great! This pregnancy so far has definitely been different than my last (which I miscarried). I've had bad morning sickness (almost as bad as with Kyler, but not quite) and of course, im super tired ALL the time, but some of that may contribute to chasing a one and half year old around! Anyway... things are going great! We've already had 2 ultrasounds of our little one (which I will post pictures of later) and everything seems to be going as planned. Oh ya... and did I mention we might have a Christmas baby? NO JOKE! haha I'm due December 24th. Not the most ideal date, but we will take it!
